5th First Bank Agric & Expo 2026

The First Bank Agric & Export Expo convenes stakeholders across the agricultural ecosystem to explore practical opportunities for collaboration, deepen value-chain participation, and strengthen financing models for a sector with significant growth potential.
Launched in 2017, the Expo was designed to stimulate national discourse and action on the economic benefits of building a sustainable agricultural value chain, an alternative source of economic development and foreign exchange through exports.
Highlights from Previous Editions
- 2018: Focused on driving conversations and partnerships that support sustainable businesses for agropreneurs and create avenues for growth and increased per capita income. The then Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Audu Ogbeh, served as Special Guest of Honour, while Doyin Salami of Lagos Business School delivered the keynote address.
- 2019: Spotlighted opportunities and risk management in agribusiness. The edition featured three masterclasses led by subject matter experts who shared practical insights and success stories across specific agricultural business segments.
- 2025: Marked a strategic shift as the Expo was renamed āFirstBank Agric & Export Expoā to reflect the economyās growing focus on non-oil exports. The edition was themed āThe Fundamentals of Building an Export-Driven Economy.ā
The 2026 Edition
Building on the success of the 2025 edition, FirstBank is set to host the 5th Agric & Export Expo as a two-day hybrid event in 2026. The Expo will reinforce the Bankās leadership in Nigeriaās agricultural and non-oil export sectors and shift engagement from awareness to execution, conversion, and measurable business outcomes.
The theme of the 2026 edition is āFrom Farm to Global Markets: Building Nigeriaās Export Value Chain.ā
Focus Sessions
The Expo will feature two focused discussion sessions:
- Plenary Session: A high-level discussion led by policymakers and private-sector leaders, offering a broad overview of strategies to advance growth in agribusiness and non-oil exports.
- Technical Session: An expert-led panel focused on practical strategies to reposition agribusiness and non-oil exports as key drivers of economic growth.
The Expo will also host a world-class two-day exhibition showcasing agro and export commodities across their value chains, creating opportunities for networking, trade, and business connections that will enrich the overall event experience.
